The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Toro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Duarte is trying to defend but El Toro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
El Toro wants to work for an arm triangle but Duarte is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
El Toro is taking a breather. Duarte says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
