Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Markson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ballad of Jesse James kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jesse James enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Markson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
James wants to control the pace but Markson is squirming around nicely.
James tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Markson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. James is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Markson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take James's back instead.

Markson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but James can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

James is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Markson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Markson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, James has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Markson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Markson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
