Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rcrs Sarabjit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Page will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rcrs Sarabjit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Page!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarabjit closes the distance and clinches up with Page, looking for a takedown. Sarabjit pushes Page against the cage but Page circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Page tries a head kick but it misses.
Sarabjit tries to clinch up but Page circles away and keeps his distance.
Sarabjit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Page circles away quickly and effectively.
Page moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sarabjit could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Page scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sarabjit takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Rcrs Sarabjit has been cut.
Page throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sarabjit takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Page tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A head kick misses from Page.
Page throws a sloppy head kick and Sarabjit moves out of range easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Page throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sarabjit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Page's waist but Page gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sarabjit off to one side.

Sarabjit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sarabjit thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Page is trying to buck Sarabjit off.

Sarabjit tries for a kimura but Page is defending well.
Sarabjit working away.

Page pushes Sarabjit away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sarabjit gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Sarabjit wants to stand but Page is controlling his arm.

Page throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Sarabjit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Page's half guard.
We've been hearing that Sarabjit has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Page is concentrating on defense, preventing Sarabjit from advancing position.

Page wants to get back to full guard.
Sarabjit tries to stand and escape but Page is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rcrs Sarabjit.
Sarabjit tries to clinch but Page moves away

and Page counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Page.
Page wants to break free but Sarabjit has control.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Sarabjit is pressed up against the cage. Page has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sarabjit down to the mat. Sarabjit avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Page misses with a head kick.
Page swings for the body but Sarabjit moves out of range.
Page fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Page tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Page throws the kick towards the body but Sarabjit avoids it.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Page takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Page tries to close the distance and clinch but Sarabjit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sarabjit shoots in for a takedown but Page shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rcrs Sarabjit. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sarabjit drives through with a takedown into Page's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Michael Page hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nice sprawl there from Sarabjit as Page shoots in.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rcrs Sarabjit is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Page throws a head kick that half lands.

Sarabjit throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Page blocks it with crossed arms.

Sarabjit stalling in the clinch but Page improves position.

Page's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Page tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sarabjit swivels and escapes.

Sarabjit has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Page finds it's way round the side to connect with Sarabjit's head.

Page fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sarabjit to the ground. Page is now in Sarabjit's guard.

Sarabjit is looking for a triangle but Page pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Page wants to stand but Sarabjit has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Page accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Page decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Page throws a head kick that misses.
Page tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sarabjit sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Page somewhat.
Page shoots in looking for a takedown but Sarabjit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Page's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Page throws a wild body kick that Sarabjit sees coming a mile off.
Michael Page seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Page shoots for a double leg takedown but Sarabjit sprawls well. He's pushed Page's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Page throws a sloppy head kick and Sarabjit moves out of range easily.
Michael Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Page looks for the body kick but Sarabjit saw that one coming.
Sarabjit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Page dives in and grabs Sarabjit's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sarabjit pushes down on Page's head and hops out.

Page wants to sweep here but Sarabjit controlling him for the moment.
Page wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sarabjit is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sarabjit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Page is looking to get back to is feet but Sarabjit passes into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sarabjit tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Page throws out a leg kick but Sarabjit moves out of range and Page only half commits.
A head kick from Page lands but Sarabjit takes it in his stride.

Sarabjit dives in for a single leg takedown but Page sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Sarabjit shoots in and bounces Page off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Page is looking to stand up but Sarabjit isn't so interested in that idea.

Sarabjit has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Page is proving hard to escape from.
Sarabjit might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Good standup being displayed there by Page as he connects with a hook.
Page lands a jab to Sarabjit's midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sarabjit is trying hard to land a takedown here. Page sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Page tries to circle away but Sarabjit has him pinned against the cage.
Sarabjit is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Page has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sarabjit uses from the top position.

Sarabjit is looking for a kimura but Page is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sarabjit to get the leverage.
Michael Page is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Page is trying to maintain the position but Sarabjit is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michael Page wasn't active enough on the ground.
Page throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Page throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rcrs Sarabjit has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Page looking to score a takedown here. Sarabjit is defending well but Page drives through and ends up in Sarabjit's guard.

I've got Page winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
