Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silu Hironaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Silu Hironaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julius Gable! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gable fakes the leg kick and cracks Hironaki in the body. Hironaki drives through and clinches with Gable against the cage.
Hironaki goes for a takedown attempt but Gable pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hironaki looks to land a combination but Gable avoids it well. Hironaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Gable circles away.
Hironaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Gable. Hironaki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gable! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hironaki unloading with bombs! Gable tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hironaki working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hironaki controlling from mount. Hironaki is working for a guillotine from mount but Gable frees his head quite easily.
Hironaki scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Gable?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hironaki looking to control and managing it successfully. Gable is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hironaki thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Gable tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hironaki controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable wants to hold on but Hironaki pushes him away. Gable really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hironaki fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hironaki controlling his opponent. Hironaki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gable looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hironaki controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silu Hironaki dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big left from Hironaki misses. Hironaki throws a nice outside leg kick. Gable tries to clinch but Hironaki moves away and Hironaki counters by moving into the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hironaki gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hironaki controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gable wants to stand up but Hironaki is controlling him. Hironaki trying to control but Gable is working from the bottom. Hironaki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gable is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gable is breathing heavily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hironaki shoots in but Gable avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hironaki feints and as Gable raises his hands in defense, Hironaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hironaki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gable looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gable looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gable! Hironaki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hironaki throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Gable manages to pass to side control. Hironaki struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gable wants to control but Hironaki is keeping him busy. Gable creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hironaki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Hironaki is looking to reverse the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hironaki trying his best to control but Gable has mounted him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silu Hironaki dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hironaki clinches up against the cage. Gable takes a knee right on the jaw!
Gable wants to get back to striking at distance but Hironaki won't allow it.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Gable unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hironaki lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Hironaki tightens his grip and picks Gable up, before dumping him to the ground. Gable manages to land in guard. Hironaki wants to stand but Gable has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hironaki passes Gable's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hironaki content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hironaki has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hironaki tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gable. Gable has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hironaki is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gable is staying active underneath Hironaki, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gable trying to control from the bottom.
Hironaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Gable is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hironaki looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hironaki takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hironaki thows a body shot but no joy. Silu Hironaki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hironaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gable as he avoids it easily. Gable shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hironaki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hironaki. Gable wants to stand up but Hironaki is controlling him. Hironaki connects with a couple of short punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gable not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gable wants to sweep here but Hironaki controlling him for the moment. Hironaki passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hironaki trying to control the position but Gable is working away. Julius Gable has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hironaki slows the pace down.
And that's the end of the fight! Silu Hironaki showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hironaki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
