Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Djadjo Cigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cigan has chosen DJ Valentino as his entrance music. Djadjo Cigan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Djadjo Cigan has been cut.
Cigan tries a head kick but it misses.
Torres throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Torres feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cigans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cigan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

We've been told by Torres's head coaches at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Cigan throws a head kick but Torres moves out of range.
Torres fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cigan sprawls well initially but Torres persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Torres is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Cigan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Torres controlling the action here.
Torres looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Torres is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cigan!

Torres lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torres is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cigan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The cut above Djadjo Cigan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Djadjo Cigan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kevin Torres!
In defeat, Djadjo Cigan stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well I wanna coungradulate my opponent, he was better than me this night, I ll do my best to get back soon and win next fights, love you all.'.
