Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Hakkinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Chandler had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Hakkinen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler stuffs the takedown attempt from Hakkinen. Hakkinen gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hakkinen enables Chandler to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hakkinen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Chandler controls from within his opponent's guard.

Chandler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hakkinen, up you get!
Hakkinen shoots in but Chandler avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Chandler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hakkinen's guard.

Hakkinen is looking to slow Chandler down with leg kicks.

Chandler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hakkinen.
Ryan Chandler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Hakkinen.
Chandler lands with an uppercut that bounces Hakkinen off the cage and back into range.

Hakkinen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chandler paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hakkinen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hakkinen shoots in for a takedown but Chandler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hakkinen keeps the fight on the outside.
Chandler lands with a good body shot.
Chandler connects with a looping right hand.
Chandler wants to clinch up but Hakkinen keeps it at a distance.

Hakkinen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chandler stands up from Hakkinen's guard - Chandler perhaps looking for a knockout.
Chandler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hakkinen.
Hakkinen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chandler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hakkinen looks winded!

Chandler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hakkinen on his heels. He'll look to pass Hakkinen's guard now, I'm sure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chandler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chandler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Chandler postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Chandler stays in close to Hakkinen's body and controls the position.

Chandler drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Chandler seems to have locked his on tight now - Hakkinen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Chandler, as he picks up the win!
