Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ci Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Grimes had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn cracks Grimes with an open hand slap.
Chulainn connects with a looping right hand.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Grimes.
Grimes misses with an uppercut. Chulainn saw that one coming.
Chulainn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chulainn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grimes scoring well with a low kick there.
Chulainn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grimes gets tackled into the cage by Chulainn. Chulainn maintains the clinch.

Grimes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grimes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chulainn back to the cage. Grimes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Ci Chulainn has been cut.
Grimes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chulainn checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Grimes throws a nice looking combination but Chulainn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've been hearing reports that Grimes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Chulainn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grimes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Grimes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chulainn tries to bum rush Grimes with a series of wild strikes but Grimes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Chulainn looks to score with a jab to the body but Grimes is just out of range.

Grimes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chulainn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chulainn lands a nice shot that snaps Grimes's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chulainn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chulainn throws a hook but Grimes blocks it.
Grimes throws a right hand that Chulainn ducks under and follows up with a left that Chulainn also avoids with ease.

Chulainn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Chulainn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chulainn misses with a straight left.

Chulainn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Grimes's hands.
Grimes throws a head kick that misses.
Grimes thuds his shin into the meat of Chulainn's side.
Chulainn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Grimes under the eye.
Chulainn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Chulainn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Grimes misses with a double jab.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Grimes.
Chulainn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Grimes drops his hands momentarily and Chulainn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Chulainn pounces like a tiger and cracks Grimes with a vicious hook! Grimes is down but not out! Chulainn follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
