Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Strickland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Bomba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dallas Strickland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andre Bomba! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strickland misses with a takedown and Bomba counters with a nice body shot. Bomba has managed to clinch.
Bomba leaning his opponent against the cage. Strickland successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bomba wants to get up but he can't break Strickland's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Strickland is on top in guard.
Bomba wants to get back to his feet but Strickland is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bomba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomba looking for a sweep. Not yet Bomba, not yet. Strickland prevents Bomba from getting back to his feet. Bomba tries to land a sweep but no joy. Strickland is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bomba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strickland avoids it really well and circles away. Bomba shoots in and bounces Strickland off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Strickland keeping moving, preventing Bomba from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strickland is trying to control the position but Bomba postures up. Bomba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strickland. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bomba looking to sit in guard and control but Strickland gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Strickland stops Bomba from standing up. Bomba looks winded! Strickland slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bomba is working to avoid the ground and pound but Strickland connects with a decent elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strickland lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bomba down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strickland staying calm. Bomba tries to get back to half guard but can't. Strickland trying to control the position but Bomba is working away. Strickland prevents Bomba from escaping the position. Bomba is looking to reverse the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bomba can do anything to dispel that myth. Bomba prevents Strickland from moving into mount. Bomba is trying to control Strickland's posture but Strickland avoids it. Strickland decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strickland fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bomba manages to avoid it. Strickland shoots in looking for a takedown but Bomba manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Strickland's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Strickland tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bomba defends well and Strickland ends up having to push Bomba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dallas Strickland. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bomba is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Strickland can't fight it off and eventually Bomba manages to take the fight to the floor. Strickland looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Strickland really is a fat lump. Strickland pushes a forearm under Bomba's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bomba is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
