Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Keeper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Keeper has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zack Paul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andy Keeper!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keeper tries for a takedown but Paul sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Paul has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Paul there as he acknowledges the shot.

Paul closes the distance and pushes Keeper back into the cage.
Paul stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Paul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Paul decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Keeper tries to get to full guard but Paul has control of the leg.
Paul looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Keeper gets back to full guard.

Paul pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Keeper is keeping the position for now.
Paul is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zack Paul.

Paul shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Keeper trying to control but Paul postures up.
Paul seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Keeper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Keeper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Zack Paul has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Paul forces Keeper back against the cage and clinches.

Keeper is trying to pull guard but Paul has him pressed against the cage.
Keeper tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Paul smiles and moves away.
Zack Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Keeper.
Paul tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Keeper swivels and escapes.
Paul blocks the body kick.
Keeper avoids the head kick by Paul.
Paul takes a jab right on the kisser.
Paul takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Paul is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Paul closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Keeper wants to get back to striking at distance but Paul won't allow it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the fighters up against the cage, Keeper throws an elbow but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zack Paul dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Paul tries to score a power double leg takedown but Keeper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Paul somewhat.
Keeper lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Keeper lands with a shot to the body.
Keeper works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Paul shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Keeper sprawls well. Keeper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paul gets slowly back to his feet.
Paul avoids a punch combination nicely.
Keeper lands a right hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Keeper throws a good cross that connects.

Keeper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zack Paul is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Keeper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paul defends it nicely.
Keeper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paul's waist but Paul gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Keeper off to one side.
Keeper swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Paul.
Keeper scores with the left hand. Paul knows he should have avoided that one.
Paul is trying hard to land a takedown here. Keeper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Paul slips a jab and a cross from Keeper.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Paul.
Paul wants to control but Keeper is keeping him busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Keeper is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Paul's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Paul perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Paul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keeper keeps working.

Keeper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Paul.
Nice shot lands for Keeper.
Keeper throws a right and a left that Paul avoids nicely.
Paul moves away from the strike by Keeper.
Keeper moves in looking to clinch but Paul pushes him off.
Paul darts in looking for a takedown but Keeper gets double underhooks and turns Paul into the cage.
Keeper is trying to break the clinch but Paul has him pressed against the cage.

Keeper stalks Paul and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Paul's face. Paul staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Keeper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Keeper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Paul pinned against the cage. Paul gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Andy Keeper seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Paul darts in and clinches Keeper up against the cage.

Paul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Keeper might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Paul stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Paul wants it to stay on the feet.
Keeper throws a hook but Paul avoids it easily.
Keeper lands a lovely overhand right.

and Paul counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Keeper's guard now.

Paul stands and throws Keeper's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Keeper is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paul controls the position from side control.

Paul looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Paul is looking to take a break and control but Keeper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Keeper is looking for a sweep.
Paul wants to control but Keeper is keeping him busy.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Keeper looks to move to half guard but instead Paul has passed into mount! Damn!
Keeper tries to lock up and control but Paul gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Paul can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Keeper is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Paul has hold of Keeper's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Keeper manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Keeper is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Keeper is looking to improve his position but Paul isn't that keen on the idea.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zack Paul showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Paul has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
