The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Delton slaps away a takedown attempt from Evans, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Evans wants to clinch but Delton slips to the side

and Delton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Delton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Evans tries to clinch up but Delton circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for Delton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Delton wants to free his trapped foot but Evans is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Delton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evans is just riding it out for now. Delton eventually gives up the hold.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Delton in particular looking to stall.
Evans looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Delton stands up out of the half guard.
Delton throws a right hand that Evans ducks under and follows up with a left that Evans also avoids with ease.
Delton shoots in and drives through. Evans sprawls well.
Delton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Evans manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Delton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Evans tries to escape but Delton is in control.

Delton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Evans sprawls well. Evans wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Delton gets slowly back to his feet.

Delton tries to land knees in the clinch but Evans avoids the damage to the body.

Delton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Evans after a bit of a struggle.

Delton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Evans defends it well.

Delton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Evans has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Delton has managed to get both his arms back between Evans's legs - danger averted.
