Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panko Krang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Worf Roshenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Worf Roshenko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roshenko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Krang is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Krang gets full guard.

Krang is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Roshenko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Roshenko wants to control from the top but Krang keeps moving.

Krang is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roshenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roshenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Krang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roshenko manages to get himself to full guard.

Krang drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roshenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roshenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roshenko!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krang is on top in guard.

Roshenko controls Krang momentarily but Krang frees himself.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Worf Roshenko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Krang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Krang is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roshenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Roshenko tries to bench press Krang off him but Krang keeps the position.

Krang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Krang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roshenko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krang.

Krang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Roshenko!

Krang goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Roshenko turns into him and now he's in Krang's guard.

Krang lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roshenko!

Roshenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roshenko has managed to get both his arms back between Krang's legs - danger averted.

Krang shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Roshenko is trying to defend but Krang finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Roshenko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Krang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roshenko was covering up waiting for the punch and Krang finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Roshenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krang is working away from the top position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Krang, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
