Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kristo Napz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Gammon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Gammon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kristo Napz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gammon blocks a head kick by Napz.
Gammon throws a leg kick but Napz checks it. Napz throws a head kick that half lands.
Napz misses with a head kick.
Napz throws a head kick that misses. Gammon avoids the head kick by Napz.
Napz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gammon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Napz is trying to stand up here but Gammon is controlling him well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gammon in particular looking to stall. Gammon wants to work for an arm triangle but Napz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Napz tries to get to full guard but Gammon has control of the leg. Gammon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Napz trying to get back to full guard but Gammon takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Gammon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Napz turns into him and now he's in Gammon's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gammon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gammon has Napz pulled in close to control his posture. Napz stopping the sweep attempt from Gammon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gammon looking to control.
Gammon pulls Napz in close to his closed guard and prevents Napz from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gammon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gammon trying to keep a closed guard but Napz is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gammon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Napz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Napz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Gammon dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Napz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Napz throws a head kick that misses. Gammon moves into the clinch successfully.
Napz prevents Gammon from breaking the clinch. Gammon content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gammon. Napz jumps guard but Gammon stands there with Napz around his waist. Napz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gammon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Napz smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Napz tries a head kick but it misses.
Gammon shoots in looking for a takedown. Napz tries to sprawl out of it but Gammon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Napz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A head kick from Napz lands but Gammon takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gammon tries to land a leg kick but Napz saw it coming and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gammon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gammon is breathing heavily. Gammon rushes Napz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gammon pulls guard. Napz wants to stand but Gammon has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Napz trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gammon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gammon wriggles free and stands up. Napz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gammon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gammon fails to land the takedown. Kristo Napz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Gammon. Napz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Napz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Napz tries for a takedown but Gammon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Napz throws a head kick that Gammon semi-blocks.
Horrible takedown by Napz or perhaps it was just good defense by Gammon which made him look bad. Napz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Napz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gammon's waist but Gammon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Napz off to one side. Napz lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gammon takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Napz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gammon's head. Napz lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Gammon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Napz tries to reverse the position but Gammon maintains control. Napz tries to hold on but Gammon pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Napz is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gammon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Gammon connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gammon controlling from mount. Napz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gammon on the ground. Napz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gammon throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mick Gammon will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Napz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gammon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Napz is defending against the submission attempts here by Gammon.
Gammon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gammon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gammon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gammon wants to pass to mount but Napz is defending the position. Gammon is tying to control. Napz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Napz won't allow Gammon to pass to mount.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gammon has a takedown stuffed. Napz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Napz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Napz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Napz didn't expect that. Gammon won't allow Napz to get back to his feet. Gammon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Napz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gammon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Napz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gammon won't allow Napz to get back to his feet. Mick Gammon has got the better of the ground game so far. Gammon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that's the end of the fight! Mick Gammon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Gammon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
