Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Nim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Nim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Riley! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nim throws a good cross that connects.
Riley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nim tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Riley is in Nim's guard. Nim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riley is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riley trying to control but Nim is working from the bottom. Nim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Riley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nim working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Riley. Riley working some strikes from top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Riley throws a big right hand that misses. Riley wants to control from the top but Nim keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nim wants to sweep but no luck. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Riley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Riley throws a big elbow that misses. Riley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nim keeping full guard, as Riley tries to pass. Riley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nim keeping full guard, as Riley tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Riley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nim defends well and Riley ends up having to push Nim into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Riley has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nim is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tim Nim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethan Riley. Nim tries to circle away but Riley has him pinned against the cage. Riley goes for a takedown attempt but Nim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Riley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Riley sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Riley looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Nim closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Ethan Riley has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nim lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nim looks to land a combination but Riley avoids it well. Nice sprawl there from Nim as Riley shoots in. Nim scores with a nice right hand.
Nim thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Riley if he has to take too many more of those.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nim lands a left and a right that send Riley crashing to the mat, dazed. Nim thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Riley is rocked! Riley gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Nim points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Riley wakes up just in time to hear Nim thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tim Nim!
