Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amos Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parks has chosen All I Do Is Win as his entrance music. Amos Parks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angel Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amos Parks! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones goes for a double leg but Parks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Parks continues to drive forward. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parks misses with the combination.
Parks closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Parks pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parks circles away. Parks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Parks looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is working Parks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Parks keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Parks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones distracts Parks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Parks being controlled here, momentarily. Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Parks looking to control.
Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones with a nice head shot there. Parks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Parks can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Parks looks winded! Jones escapes and gets back to his feet. Jones clinches. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Parks tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones slips nicely into half guard. Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jones is nestled in close to Parks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones slips a nice elbow through Parks's hands, connecting with Parks's forehead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones controlling the action here. Parks has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jones working Parks over with strikes. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Parks is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Angel Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones gets the takedown into side control. Parks can't do much from the bottom here. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones scores with punches from side control. Jones scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Parks to see if he's OK. Jones lands a decent elbow from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Parks, who protects the arm well. Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Parks is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Jones takes a little break here. Parks wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Parks on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones working away. Jones scoring with punches and elbows. Jones in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Parks looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Jones turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angel Jones!
