Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amos Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parks has chosen All I Do Is Win as his entrance music. Amos Parks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones goes for a double leg but Parks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Parks continues to drive forward.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parks misses with the combination.
Parks closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Parks pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Parks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Parks looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.

Jones is working Parks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Parks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Parks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jones slips nicely into half guard.
Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jones is nestled in close to Parks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Parks, who protects the arm well.
