Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Lurch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lurch comes to the cage accompanied by Won't back down - Tom Petty. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Lurch!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lurch looking to score a takedown here. Lewis is defending well but Lurch drives through and ends up in Lewis's guard.
Lewis wants to stand but Lurch is controlling the position.
Lurch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lurch connects with a nice short shot to Lewis's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ethan Lurch.
Well Lurch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
