Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Christopher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Blankinship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blankinship shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Blankinship ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tony Blankinship seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Christopher shoots for a takedown but Blankinship saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Blankinship shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Christopher but Christopher pushes him off and we're back to square one. Blankinship shoots in and drives through. Christopher sprawls well. Anthony Christopher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Blankinship. Blankinship tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Christopher defends well and Blankinship ends up having to push Christopher into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Christopher tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blankinship just stands there and leans against the cage. Blankinship leaning his opponent against the cage. Christopher has Blankinship pressed against the cage, preventing Blankinship from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Christopher leaves Blankinship with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Christopher shoots for a takedown but Blankinship saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Christopher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blankinship counters with a two punch combo. Christopher fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Blankinship avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Blankinship throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Christopher avoids the head kick by Blankinship.
Blankinship moves into the clinch. Christopher manages to break the clinch.
Christopher tries to keep at a distance but Blankinship has taken the fight into the clinch. Christopher manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christopher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Christopher tries to close the distance and clinch but Blankinship swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. No joy there for Christopher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Christopher dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blankinship. That did some damage! Christopher swats away the attempt to clinch by Blankinship. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blankinship is defended easily by Christopher. Christopher tries to clinch up and Blankinship counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Blankinship. Blankinship tries to pull guard but Christopher won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christopher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Christopher tries to throw a body punch but Blankinship avoids it by throwing Christopher back against the cage. Blankinship tries to pull guard but Christopher forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Christopher is defending well against a takedown attempt. Christopher keeps control of Blankinship as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Blankinship displaying some good clinch control by pressing Christopher up against the cage. Blankinship lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Christopher or not. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Christopher. Christopher struggles to land a body shot inside as Blankinship controls his hands.

A close round but Tony Blankinship will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Christopher tries to bum rush Blankinship with a series of wild strikes but Blankinship uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Blankinship slips a jab and a cross from Christopher.
Christopher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blankinship circles away. Christopher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Christopher throws a combination that misses and Blankinship counters with a series of strikes. Christopher will be more careful next time no doubt. A combination from Blankinship does no damage. Blankinship shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Christopher as he avoids it easily. Christopher slips a jab and a cross from Blankinship.
Blankinship dives in and grabs Christopher's left leg, looking for a takedown. Christopher pushes down on Blankinship's head and hops out. Sloppy strikes from Blankinship. Those never looked like landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blankinship moves into the clinch. Blankinship tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Christopher just stands there and leans against the cage. Anthony Christopher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Blankinship. Blankinship is breathing heavily. Blankinship successfully pulls guard.
Christopher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Christopher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Blankinship shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Christopher pinned against the cage. Christopher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Blankinship tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Christopher throws a body punch but Blankinship moves out of range. Blankinship shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Christopher sprawls well. Christopher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blankinship gets slowly back to his feet.

He's got his arms around Blankinship's waist but Blankinship gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christopher off to one side. Anthony Christopher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Blankinship tries for a takedown but Christopher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Blankinship tries to clinch up and Christopher counters with a one-two to the body. Blankinship has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Christopher. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Christopher fails with the takedown. Anthony Christopher is winning the standup battle so far. Blankinship moves into range and clinches up with Christopher.

Christopher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Christopher lands a couple of elbows. Blankinship wants to sweep here but Christopher controlling him for the moment. Christopher is working Blankinship over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christopher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Blankinship working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Christopher. Christopher working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Blankinship wants to stand and escape but Christopher is having none of it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christopher gets to his feet. Blankinship looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Christopher tries to clinch but Blankinship is having none of it. Christopher tries for a takedown but Blankinship sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Blankinship throws a lazy head kick and Christopher counters by clinching up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Christopher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight moves into the clinch position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Christopher dominated that second round. That's time! Christopher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Christopher tries to clinch up but Blankinship circles away and keeps his distance. Christopher shoots in for a double leg but Blankinship sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Blankinship tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Christopher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Blankinship makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Blankinship feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Christopher is working an open guard so Blankinship takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Blankinship moves into range and clinches up with Christopher. Blankinship is looking for a takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Christopher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christopher cracks Blankinship with an open hand slap. Christopher circles away from the clinch attempt.

Christopher moves in looking to clinch but Blankinship pushes him off. Christopher throws a nice looking combination but Blankinship bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Christopher misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Blankinship counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blankinship pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Christopher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blankinship changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Christopher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Blankinship taking a breather here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blankinship tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blankinship works to advance to full mount. Christopher defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Blankinship goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Christopher is on top in guard.
