Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georges Rush is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Rush! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George takes the fight into the clinch. Rush looking to slow down the pace here. George breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Decent striking displayed by George there. George comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. George throws a head kick that misses. George connects with a leg kick. Rush looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. George misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice shot lands for George. George tries a head kick but it misses.
George connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. George works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. George tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rush manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. George tries to clinch up. George lands a nice looking body shot.
George lands with a hook. Rush tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Rush circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rush shoots in for a takedown but George shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. George fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rush looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ricky George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. George rushes Rush and presses him up against the cage. George wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rush wants a takedown but no success here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George prevents Rush from breaking the clinch. George manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from George. Rush throws a half hearted mid kick. George tries a head kick but it misses.
Rush drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rush working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rush postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush creates some space and throws a big elbow, but George sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Rush is staying tight to George's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rush fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. George is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rush has just dragged him back down to the mat. Rush is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down George's shoulder. That is not cool. George is breathing heavily. Rush landing a few strikes. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rush moves into full mount! Rush scoring with strikes but George is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricky George dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Rush shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rush with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rush trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rush stands and throws George's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rush is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, George has escaped the position, nice work there. An elbow from Rush crashes against the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. George takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rush staying calm. Rush is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. George looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rush gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. George is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rush lets go of the hold and George can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Georges Rush!
