Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Steele has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ben Steele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Malone!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Steele thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Malone's head.
Malone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Malone misses with a takedown attempt - Steele sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Malone goes for an armbar but Steele turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Steele.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Malone stands and throws Steele's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Malone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steele has escaped the position, nice work there.

Malone connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Malone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steele manages to avoid it.
Steele tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Malone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Steele sprawls well initially but Malone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Steele is trying to control but can't.
Steele tries to roll over but Malone keeps him under control.
Bo Malone has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bo Malone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Steele's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Well Malone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
