Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Piehole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent LeMarche! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piehole swings away with a leg kick that misses. LeMarche shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Piehole as he avoids it easily. Piehole misses with a low kick as LeMarche jumps back. LeMarche throws a shot from downtown. Piehole moves away and avoids it. Piehole connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Piehole misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Piehole throws a lazy head kick and LeMarche counters by moving into the clinch. Piehole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Piehole lands a leg kick that knocks LeMarche off balance momentarily. LeMarche shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Piehole but Piehole pushes him off and we're back to square one. LeMarche misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piehole fakes the leg kick and cracks LeMarche in the body. LeMarche tries to clinch up and Piehole counters with a head kick. Piehole scores with a slapping inside leg kick. No luck for LeMarche with that takedown attempt. Will Piehole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent LeMarche. LeMarche shoots in for a takedown but Piehole shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piehole misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Piehole scores with a head kick. LeMarche tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. We've been told by Piehole's head coaches at Montreal Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Piehole connects with an inside leg kick. Piehole scoring well with a low kick there.
Piehole lands a big head kick that sends LeMarche to the canvas! Piehole follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Piehole! An out of breath and clearly excited Will Piehole thanked Milwaukee's Best 160 for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
