The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhymes blocks a head kick by Gauge.
Rhymes throws a head kick but Gauge moves out of range.
Rhymes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gauge thows a body shot but no joy.
Rhymes slips under a jab.
Rhymes throws out a loose jab but Gauge uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rhymes moves out of range of the strikes.
Gauge tries a low kick but Rhymes avoids it.
Rhymes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rhymes lands an overhand right.
Rhymes swings widly with a right hand
and Gauge counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tyson Gauge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rhymes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gauge.
The crowd cheers as Rhymes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gauge doesn't seem phased though.
Rhymes looks to score with a jab to the body but Gauge is just out of range.
Gauge throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gauge moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A jab from Rhymes finds it's way through Gauge's defenses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rhymes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gauge's head.
Gauge tries to kick Rhymes off but Rhymes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rhymes with the ground and pound but Gauge uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Rhymes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gauge wants to stand but Rhymes is controlling the position.
Rhymes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rhymes is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gauge is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Gauge controls Rhymes momentarily but Rhymes frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rhymes thumps Gauge with a low kick.
That kick from Gauge tenderised Rhymes's leg. Rhymes is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gauge moves out of range of the strikes.
Gauge throws a hook to the side of Rhymes's head but Rhymes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rhymes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gauge.
A head kick misses from Gauge.
Gauge has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gauge there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rhymes lands a really nice looking cross but Gauge seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh!!! Rhymes has knocked Gauge down with a huge combo! Rhymes steps away and waves a wobbly Gauge back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gauge is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Rhymes engages and cracks Gauge with a massive lead left hook - Gauge tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Rhymes is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Busta Rhymes!
