Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dima Shunkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shunkov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Connell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Shunkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Connell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shunkov has managed to get both his arms back between Connell's legs - danger averted.
Connell has his foot on Shunkov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shunkov works his way back into a safe position though.
Connell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shunkov defends well.
