Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert E Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gennaro Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gattuso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gattuso throws a nice looking combination but Conan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gattuso has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Gattuso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conan pinned against the cage. Conan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Conan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Gennaro Gattuso has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conan lands a high kick to the side of Gattuso's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Conan dives into guard, looking to finish.
Gattuso is rocked!
Conan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Gattuso covers up, he's hurt! Conan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Conan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Conan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
