Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Paquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragov has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Manuel Paquiao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valko Dragov! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragov scores with a jab. Dragov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paquiao moves away. Paquiao misses with an uppercut. Dragov saw that one coming. Dragov shoots in for a takedown but Paquiao shows good takedown defense. Paquiao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dragov throws a body punch but Paquiao moves out of range. Dragov tries to move into range but Paquiao moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Paquiao cracks Dragov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dragov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paquiao was well out of range. Poor timing from Dragov. Paquiao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dragov's head backwards. Paquiao fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dragov on the side of the head. Dragov looks to score with a jab to the body but Paquiao is just out of range. Dragov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dragov fails with a takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Paquiao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dragov.

That's one minute gone in the round. Paquiao lands a jab to the head.
Dragov thows a body shot but no joy. A jab from Dragov misses. Paquiao paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dragov shoots in looking for a takedown. Paquiao tries to sprawl out of it but Dragov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paquiao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Manuel Paquiao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valko Dragov. Paquiao lands a body shot.
Paquiao lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Dragov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dragov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Paquiao finds it's way round the side to connect with Dragov's head. Dragov just misses with a punch to the body.
Dragov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dragov tries for a takedown but Paquiao circles away easily and Dragov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dragov misses with a right hand and Paquiao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Paquiao is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Dragov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paquiao is fending him off so far but Dragov persists. Nope, Paquiao circles away and we're back to standing. Dragov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paquiao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dragov.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dragov. Paquiao leaves Dragov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dragov misses with a takedown attempt - Paquiao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dragov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Dragov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Paquiao scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dragov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dragov dives in and grabs Paquiao's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paquiao pushes down on Dragov's head and hops out. Dragov tries to clinch up but Paquiao circles away and keeps his distance. Dragov throws a body punch but Paquiao moves out of range. Dragov misses with a body shot
and Paquiao counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Dragov goes for a double leg but Paquiao avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Paquiao continues to drive forward. Paquiao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Valko Dragov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dragov. Dragov throws a jab when Paquiao was well out of range. Dragov just misses with a punch to the body.
Paquiao ducks under a wild hook from Dragov. Donk. Paquiao catches Dragov right on the button with a cross. Paquiao is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A cross from Paquiao lands.
Dragov is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paquiao drops Dragov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Paquiao follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manuel Paquiao! An out of breath Manuel Paquiao thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
