Newsom closes the distance and pushes Christopher back into the cage.
Newsom has Christopher pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Newsom pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Christopher tumbling to the mat - Newsom dives into Christopher's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Lamichael Christopher will probably get the nod.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Christopher here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
