Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ty Manos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura throws a combination that misses and Manos counters with a left and a right that stings Nakamura. Nakamura throws a combination that misses and Manos counters with a nice body shot. Manos fails with the takedown. Manos forces Nakamura back against the cage and clinches. Nakamura misses with the head strike.
Nakamura tries to break free but Manos pushes him back against the cage. Manos dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nakamura. Manos tries to score a body lock takedown but Nakamura shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nakamura lands a left hand that snaps the head of Manos backwards. Nakamura lands with a short shot to the head. Nakamura working aggressively here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nakamura to his feet. Manos shoots in and gets a takedown into Nakamura's guard. Manos throwing strikes from guard but Nakamura blocks nicely. Nakamura keeping full guard, as Manos tries to pass. Manos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nakamura, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Manos shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Manos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Manos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Manos is breathing heavily. Manos drives through and clinches with Nakamura against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Nakamura's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nakamura throws a head punch that misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Manos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nakamura throws a punch but it's blocked by Manos. Manos prevents Nakamura from breaking the clinch. Manos is trying to drag Nakamura to the mat but Nakamura just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Manos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nakamura throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nakamura misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manos shoots in but Nakamura avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nakamura throws a good cross that connects.
Nakamura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Manos. Manos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nakamura misses with a two punch combination.

Nakamura wants to clinch up but Manos keeps it at a distance. Nakamura misses with the combination.
Nakamura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Manos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Nakamura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Manos moves into range and clinches up with Nakamura. Manos turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Manos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Manos trying to control the position but Nakamura is working away. Manos has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Manos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nakamura is working to avoid the ground and pound but Manos connects with a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ty Manos dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nakamura darts in trying to clinch and Manos counters with a flying knee. Nice. Nakamura stuffs the takedown attempt from Manos. Manos gets slowly back to his feet. Nakamura misses with a straight left. Manos clinches. Nakamura has had enough of the clinch but Manos keeps him there for the moment. Manos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Manos moves into the clinch. Nakamura swings wildly with an uppercut but Manos uses good head movement to avoid it. Nakamura lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Manos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nakamura uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura trying to control but Manos is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Manos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Nakamura postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Manos wants to sweep but no luck. Nakamura trying to control the position from guard on top but Manos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakamura wants to get up but he can't break Manos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Manos working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nakamura. Nakamura has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Manos is proving hard to escape from. Manos managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Nakamura with a flurry of punches that miss. Manos is looking for a triangle but Nakamura pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Manos has his foot on Nakamura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakamura works his way back into a safe position though. This has been an exciting period of action! Nakamura with a nice head shot there. Nakamura tries to stand but Manos is controlling from the bottom. Nakamura connects with a couple of short punches. Manos pushes Nakamura off and scrambles back to his feet.
Manos throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nakamura's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manos fails to land the takedown. Nakamura keeps the fight on the outside. Nakamura's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nakamura duly obliges. Manos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nakamura fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nakamura lands a jab-cross combination. Ryo Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Manos. That's going to take a lot out of him. A bone on bone clash there as Manos blocks the leg kick.
Nakamura tries to clinch up. Nakamura throws a right hand that Manos ducks under and follows up with a left that Manos also avoids with ease.

Nakamura throws a series of punches but Manos avoids them all with ease. Nakamura throws a leg kick and Manos counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nakamura! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee asks Manos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Manos prefers to stall for the moment though. Manos scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nakamura to see if he's OK. Nakamura can't do much from the bottom here. Manos stands up and we're back to a striking position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Manos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakamura circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nakamura was covering up waiting for the punch and Manos finishes the takedown easily into guard. Manos is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nakamura is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nakamura has escaped and now he's on top! Nakamura with a flurry of punches that miss. Manos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Manos working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nakamura.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manos has his feet on Nakamura's thighs here. He's pushed Nakamura off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nakamura screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
