The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pinksy as he avoids it easily.
Pinksy lands a jab to the nose.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Santos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Jorge Santos has been cut.
Pinksy sizes up Santos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pinksy drops Santos with a beautiful combination! Santos stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pinksy is looking for the KO!
Santos is rocked!
Santos is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Pinksy doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Santos crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Santos's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drew Pinksy!
A relieved looking Drew Pinksy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
