Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louie Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hammer circles away.
No luck for Lawler with that takedown attempt.
Hammer has managed to clinch.
Lawler tries to work over Hammer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lawler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lawler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hammer as he jumps to the side.
Johnny Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louie Lawler.
Hammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Lawler.
Lawler tries to clinch but Hammer moves out of range.
Lawler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lawler closes the distance and clinches up with Hammer, looking for a takedown. Lawler pushes Hammer against the cage but Hammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hammer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lawler circles away quickly and effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammer looks to score with a jab to the body but Lawler is just out of range.
Hammer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Louie Lawler has been cut.
Hammer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hammer tests Lawler's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lawler misses with a takedown attempt
and Hammer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hammer scoring with some ground and pound.
Hammer pushing down on Lawler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Hammer slips a nice elbow through Lawler's hands, connecting with Lawler's forehead.
Hammer is nestled in close to Lawler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lawler is in trouble now - Hammer has advanced to mount!

Lawler looks winded!

Hammer lands a big shot to the head and Lawler winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
