Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Diego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ola John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cancion del Mariachi. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John moves out of range of the leg kick from Diego.
Diego moves into the clinch.

John had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diego defends it easily.

John has his foot on Diego's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diego works his way back into a safe position though.

so John counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

John is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diego is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diego has escaped and now he's on top!

John working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diego doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diego manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Diego is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but John has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Diego is looking to defend but John has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Diego! John pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Diego taps out and this one is all over!
