Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hakuna Matata! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Lipsanen! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Lipsanen does no damage. Lipsanen throws a hook but Matata avoids it easily. No joy there for Lipsanen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Lipsanen. No joy for Matata on that attempt. Lipsanen throws a right and a left that both miss. Matata slips a jab and a cross from Lipsanen.

Matata really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. That was a close round but I would say that Hakuna Matata will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Matata jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lipsanen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lipsanen and Matata has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Matata has hold of Lipsanen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lipsanen seems comfortable defending it but Matata has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lipsanen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lipsanen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Matata couldn't care less - he's delighted!
