Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Peltier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luca Brasi! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peltier looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Brasi! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Brasi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Peltier wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brasi can't do much from the bottom here. Brasi tries to escape but Peltier is in control. Peltier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Brasi tries to improve position but can't. Peltier fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brasi gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Brasi sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Peltier looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peltier is working hard here to advance position. Brasi is pressing down on Peltier's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Peltier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brasi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peltier is one step ahead there. Brasi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Peltier controls from within his opponent's guard. Peltier wants to get up but he can't break Brasi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Roman Peltier just wasn't active enough. Brasi swings for the body but Peltier moves out of range.
Peltier looking to score a takedown here. Brasi is defending well but Peltier drives through and ends up in Brasi's guard. Peltier not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Brasi wants to hit a switch here but Peltier passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Brasi there! Peltier looking to control but Brasi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Brasi regains half guard. Brasi wants to control but Peltier is keeping busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brasi has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Peltier escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Peltier! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peltier shoots in for a takedown but Brasi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Peltier shoots in and drives through. Brasi sprawls well. Peltier has his takedown stuffed and Brasi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Peltier! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Peltier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peltier is trying to control Brasi's posture but Brasi avoids it. Brasi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peltier keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brasi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Peltier's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brasi working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Brasi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peltier keeps working. Brasi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Luca Brasi has got the better of the ground game so far. Brasi trying to control the position but Peltier is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brasi throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brasi wants to control but Peltier is keeping him busy. Brasi tries to stand but Peltier is controlling his head. Brasi throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Brasi wants to stand but Peltier has his arm trapped. Peltier is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brasi in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Brasi is looking to take a break and control but Peltier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brasi is trying to get an arm triangle but Peltier is defending well. Brasi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peltier keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brasi wants to stand but Peltier is controlling his arm. Brasi tries to stand but Peltier controls the position and pulls Brasi into his guard. Peltier is pulling down on Brasi's head. It's preventing any offense from Brasi, at least for the moment. Peltier looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luca Brasi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Peltier looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Brasi is looking to escape. Brasi wants to get back to full guard. Peltier with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Brasi looking for subs from the bottom but Peltier mounts him! Brasi is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Peltier content just to control the position here. Peltier seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brasi for as long as he can get away with. Brasi is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Roman Peltier wasn't doing enough on the ground. Peltier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brasi tries to avoid it but Peltier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brasi to the ground. Brasi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brasi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Peltier is trying to defend but Brasi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Peltier tries to get to full guard but Brasi has control of the leg. It looks like Brasi is going to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Roman Peltier showed his dominance in that final round. I think Peltier has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
