Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renato Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Bring Da Ruckus. A fine choice. Peppers has chosen Day N Nite-Kid Cudi as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peppers.
Peppers avoids a kick to the body.
Peppers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Peppers somewhat.
Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Peppers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Peppers checks the leg kick.
Peppers misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
Peppers avoids a kick to the body.
Peppers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Peppers manages to get himself to full guard.

and Peppers counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Gracie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Peppers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Peppers darts in looking for a takedown but Gracie gets double underhooks and turns Peppers into the cage.
Peppers has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
