Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amos The Facebreaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Da Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amos The Facebreaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alberto Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to clinch but The Facebreaker is having none of it.

and The Facebreaker counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

The Facebreaker turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

The Facebreaker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The Facebreaker takes a little break here. Da Silva wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The Facebreaker in side control lands a decent elbow.

Da Silva is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The Facebreaker is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Da Silva's shoulder. That is not cool.
Da Silva is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Amos The Facebreaker.

The Facebreaker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Da Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Da Silva has had enough of the clinch but The Facebreaker keeps him there for the moment.
The Facebreaker can't find room to land a body shot as Da Silva controls the action.

The Facebreaker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The Facebreaker blocking some punches.
Da Silva lands a right hand.
Da Silva misses with a punch on the inside.
Da Silva working aggressively here.

Da Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but The Facebreaker is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Da Silva to the mat. Da Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The Facebreaker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and The Facebreaker counters with a left and a right that stings Da Silva.

The Facebreaker shoots in for a takedown but Da Silva shows good takedown defense.

It looks like Alberto Da Silva has been cut.
Da Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of The Facebreaker backwards.

The Facebreaker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Da Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from The Facebreaker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No joy there for Da Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Da Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - The Facebreaker circles away.
Da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but The Facebreaker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The Facebreaker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Da Silva.

The Facebreaker has taken the fight to the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Da Silva throws a head punch that misses.

The Facebreaker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alberto Da Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Facebreaker defending well as Da Silva loads up on a big left hand.
Da Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The Facebreaker lands a jab.
Da Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and The Facebreaker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Facebreaker.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Amos The Facebreaker dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A frustrated look appears on Da Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The Facebreaker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Facebreaker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Da Silva is looking to get back to his feet here but The Facebreaker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Da Silva's back.

The Facebreaker is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The Facebreaker is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Da Silva has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
