Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Avokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Van (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avokas comes to the cage accompanied by Mua ei pysäytä mikään. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keijo Avokas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Van ! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Avokas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Van shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Avokas but Avokas pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown by Avokas or perhaps it was just good defense by Van which made him look bad. Van closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Van lands in his opponent's guard. Avokas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Van is one step ahead there. Van prevents Avokas from getting back to his feet. Van passes into half guard. Van is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Van wants to free his trapped foot but Avokas is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van is looking to take a break and control but Avokas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Van decides to return to a standing position. A punch combination from Avokas misses. Avokas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Avokas scores with a one two! Van had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Van tries for a takedown but Avokas circles away easily and Avokas counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Van wants a takedown but no success here.
Keijo Avokas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Van . Van drops down looking for an ankle pick but Avokas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Van feints and as Avokas raises his hands in defense, Van changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Van postures up.
Avokas is looking to stand up but Van isn't so interested in that idea. Van passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avokas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Van in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Avokas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Van !
