Hopkins lands with a cross.

Stevenson shoots in and bounces Hopkins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hopkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevenson connects with a couple of short punches.
Stevenson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hopkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stevenson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Stevenson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hopkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stevenson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stevenson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hopkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stevenson is looking to stand up but Hopkins won't let him.

Hopkins has an active guard here but Stevenson has managed to pass into half guard.

Hopkins has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Stevenson. Oh but Hopkins has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Stevenson goes limp - he's gone! Hopkins jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
