Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkov has chosen Hindabuilding as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Alexander Volkov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Swan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Volkov! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkov works over Swan's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Jon Swan has been cut. Swan really is a fat lump. Swan looks to clinch and Volkov counters with a shoot takedown. Swan fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Volkov tries to free his leg and advance position but Swan is retaining full guard. Swan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volkov on the ground. Swan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Volkov is controlling him. Volkov wants to control from the top but Swan keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Volkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Swan wants to get back to his feet but Volkov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Volkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Swan keeping moving, preventing Volkov from controlling successfully. Swan wants to stand up but Volkov is controlling him. Swan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Volkov. Volkov trying to control but Swan is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alexander Volkov. Swan tries to close the distance and clinch but Volkov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swan wants to clinch up but Volkov keeps it at a distance. Swan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Volkov throws a one two combo.
Swan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Volkov's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Volkov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Volkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Swan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Volkov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Swan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Volkov pulls down on the head and he's put Swan to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alexander Volkov! During a confident post fight interview, Alexander Volkov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
