Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gator Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killa J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raid comes to the ring accompanied by Rio de Janeiro. Killa J has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gator Raid's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gator Raid!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Killa J!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raid stuffs the takedown attempt from J. J gets slowly back to his feet.
J fails in his attempt to clinch.

Raid shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are battling for position here. J manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
J utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Raid could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

J looking for a guillotine here but Raid defends easily.
Raid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for J on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raid's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Raid is working J over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Raid working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
J is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
J is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Raid missing with punches from the bottom.

J is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Raid defends it well.
J looks gassed!
Raid throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Raid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

J is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raid is just riding it out for now. J eventually gives up the hold.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Raid might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Raid is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Raid shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Raid showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
J is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Raid pulls his head out easily.
Raid looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
J on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Raid scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Raid looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks J with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Raid landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are battling for position here. J manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Raid trying to move into half guard but instead J has managed to sweep!
Raid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

J is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Raid tries to land a sweep but no joy.
J thows a big elbow that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Raid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around J's waist but J gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raid off to one side.
Some wild striking there from J.

Raid drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raid's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

J looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Raid is defending well. J quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Raid has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! J celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Killa J!
