Love is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Imagine. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Peppers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dude Love! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peppers darts in and clinches Love up against the cage. Love tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Love tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Peppers just stands there and leans against the cage. Love takes a knee to the side of the body. Love tries to pull guard but Peppers holds him up against the cage and eventually Love drops back down to his feet.
Brian Peppers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dude Love. Peppers comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Dude Love has been cut. Peppers lands a good knee to the midsection. Love won't want to take too many of those. Peppers lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Love or not. This has been an exciting period of action! Peppers connects with a nasty looking knee right to Love's face.
Peppers using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Love has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Peppers gets through Love's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A nice glancing elbow lands by Peppers.
Love is rocked! Love jumps guard but Peppers turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A nice glancing elbow lands by Peppers. Love is still on wobbly legs! Can Peppers finish him? A short right from Peppers. Love jumps guard but Peppers stands there with Love around his waist. Love gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Love looks winded! Love jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Peppers walks away with a smile on his face. Love gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Peppers cracks Love with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Love tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Peppers pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Love is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
