Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ty Manos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruger misses with a takedown and Manos counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kruger is lucky that one didn't land flush. Manos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kruger napping and manages to drive through into side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kruger can do anything to dispel that myth. Manos tries to advance to mount but can't. Manos swings around for an armbar but Kruger sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Manos's guard. Kruger content to stall in guard here. Manos tries to land a sweep but no joy. Manos has a closed guard, preventing Kruger from standing up. Kruger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manos has his foot on Kruger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kruger works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger controls from within his opponent's guard. Manos pulls Kruger in close to his closed guard and prevents Kruger from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manos has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kruger fails with the takedown. Kruger fails with the takedown and Manos counters with a left to the body. Ty Manos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Kruger. Manos throws a front kick that sends Kruger stumbling back into the cage. Manos throws a one two combo.
Kruger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Manos counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger with a poor takedown and Manos counters with a big head kick but Kruger shrugs it off. Tyson Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kruger looks winded! Kruger with a lazy takedown attempt and Manos counters with a good, hard body kick but Kruger shrugs it off. Manos gets a double leg takedown into Kruger's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manos wants to control from the top but Kruger keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manos won't allow Kruger to get back to his feet. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kruger keeping moving, preventing Manos from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ty Manos just wasn't active enough. Kruger has his takedown stuffed and Manos counters by clinching up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manos pulls guard. Manos looking to control.
Manos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kruger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kruger postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ty Manos wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kruger shoots in and bounces Manos off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kruger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Kruger might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tyson Kruger was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kruger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Manos but Manos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kruger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Manos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ty Manos dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kruger takes a body punch but keeps moving. Manos has closed the distance and engaged Kruger in a clinch.
Manos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kruger uses from the top position. Kruger engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Manos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kruger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manos wants to sweep here but Kruger controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kruger is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tyson Kruger wasn't active enough on the ground. Kruger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Manos defends it nicely. Kruger gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Manos to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kruger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kruger is pulling down on Manos's head. It's preventing any offense from Manos, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Manos looking to pass the guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kruger has managed to clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Manos fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kruger has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. No luck for Kruger with that takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Manos shoots in looking for a takedown. Kruger tries to sprawl out of it but Manos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kruger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Manos looks to land a body kick but Kruger moved away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kruger looks for a takedown but Manos sprawls well. Manos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kruger. Kruger with a lazy takedown attempt and Manos counters with a two punch combo. Manos looking to score a takedown here. Kruger is defending well but Manos drives through and ends up in Kruger's guard. Manos content to stall in guard here. Ty Manos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Manos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Manos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kruger is keeping the position for now. Manos stands up from Kruger's guard - Manos perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manos connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Manos dives in and grabs Kruger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kruger pushes down on Manos's head and hops out. Kruger shoots in looking for a takedown but Manos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kruger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kruger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kruger wants it to stay on the feet. Kruger shoots for a double leg takedown but Manos sprawls well. He's pushed Kruger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Manos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Still in half guard, Manos seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger is refusing to be controlled, as Manos sits in half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

And that's the end of the fight! Ty Manos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Manos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
