Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hendley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Hendley or perhaps it was just good defense by One which made him look bad. Hendley closes the distance and clinches. One tries to pull guard but Hendley won't allow it.
One prevents the takedown attempt.
One is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hendley to keep the fight standing. Hendley is trying to pull guard but One turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hendley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hendley breaks the clinch.
One misses with a few strikes there.
One is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Some bone on bone action there as One checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. One fails to land with a series of punches.
Hendley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

One keeping moving, preventing Hendley from controlling successfully. Hendley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because One is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Hendley wants to pass the guard but One is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hendley gets to his feet - One follows without any prompting. Hendley instigates a clinch. Hendley wants a takedown but no success here.
Hendley is breathing heavily. One looking for a takedown. One lands a body punch in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! One jumps guard and drags Hendley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hendley stops One from standing up. Hendley trying to control the position from guard on top but One is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. One working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendley's guard. One trying to control but Hendley is working from the bottom. Hendley wants to sweep here but One controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. One is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hendley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for One on the ground. One distracts Hendley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Hendley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. One stays in close to Hendley's body and controls the position. One cracks Hendley with a solid left hand. Hendley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hendley tries to get out of the position. One trying to control but Hendley is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. The One wasn't active enough on the ground. Hendley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hendley moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The One dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
No joy there for One, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
One is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hendley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hendley wants to advance to full mount but One doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Hendley trying to control but One is working from the bottom. One wants to sweep here but Hendley controlling him for the moment. Hendley stands up and waves to One to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. One fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. One takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hendley misses with a right hand and One counters with a series of strikes. Hendley will be more careful next time no doubt. One misses with the combination.
One rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hendley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hendley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. One closes the distance and clinches. One digs a right hand into Hendley's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hendley's gas tank.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One pulls guard. One is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. One scores with a nice shot. One throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
One not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
One wants to sweep but no luck. One controls Hendley momentarily but Hendley frees himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. One might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hendley haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. The One wasn't active enough on the ground. One tries to clinch up. Mark Hendley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. One tries to clinch there but Hendley circles away.
Hendley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but One avoids it really well and circles away. Hendley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. One wants to clinch. One wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One is looking to clinch but Hendley is avoiding it.
One closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hendley circles away. Hendley pushing out the jab but it's not landing. One shoots in for a takedown but Hendley shows good takedown defense. Hendley swats away the attempt to clinch by One. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. One shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hendley as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
One fails with a takedown attempt. Hendley keeps the fight on the outside. One fails in his attempt to clinch. Mark Hendley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. One misses with a jab, cross combination.
One bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Hendley throws a sloppy head kick and Hendley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. One jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hendley is defended easily by One. A head kick from One lands but Hendley takes it in his stride. Hendley shoots in and drives through. One sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hendley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from One. Hendley shrugs it off though. One fails miserably with a takedown attempt. One looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One fails with a takedown attempt. One tries to clinch up but Hendley circles away and keeps his distance. One shoots in for a double leg but Hendley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hendley dives in for a single leg takedown but One sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. One is looking to take this one to the mat. One is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hendley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
One pulls guard. One is trying to control the position from the bottom.
One has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The One is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hendley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. One is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendley is posturing up here but One has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hendley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hendley has to tap! Slick submission there by One!
