Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruce Day! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilcox scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Wilcox fails with the takedown. Wilcox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Day's waist but Day gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilcox off to one side. Day changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilcox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Day wants to stand but Wilcox is controlling his arm. Day tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Day has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Day has control of an arm but Wilcox manages to advance to Day's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Day is keeping busy.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A frustrated look appears on Wilcox's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wilcox successfully pulls guard.

Wilcox not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Day moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Wilcox wants to pass the guard but Day is keeping the position. Day takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Day wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wilcox is now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wilcox wants to stand up but Day has a hold of him and won't allow it. Day is looking to improve his position.
Day is trying to stand up here but Wilcox is controlling him well. Day trying to get back to full guard but Wilcox takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Day slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wilcox wants to free his trapped foot but Day is holding on for dear life with his legs. Day is trying to control but Wilcox passes into side control!
Wilcox wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Day, who protects the arm well. A control attempt from Day but he's now mounted!
