Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Troy Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Troy Foreman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gilbert Melendez!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Melendez tries to avoid it but Foreman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Melendez to the ground. Melendez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Melendez keeps the fight on the outside.
Foreman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Melendez defends it nicely.
Melendez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Melendez closes the distance and clinches up with Foreman, looking for a takedown. Melendez pushes Foreman against the cage but Foreman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Foreman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Melendez is fending him off so far but Foreman persists. Nope, Melendez circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Gilbert Melendez.
