Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Travoltavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milton Blahyi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travoltavich comes to the cage accompanied by Power in the Blood. Blahyi has chosen Cowards by American Head Charge as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Blahyi.
Blahyi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Blahyi connects with a leg kick. Travoltavich looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Blahyi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Blahyi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

No joy there for Blahyi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been informed that Blahyi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Blahyi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Blahyi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blahyi wants to clinch up but Travoltavich keeps it at a distance.
Blahyi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Travoltavich doesn't seem bothered though.

John Travoltavich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blahyi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Travoltavich.
Blahyi tries to close the distance and clinch but Travoltavich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Blahyi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Travoltavich stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Travoltavich wants it to stay on the feet.
John Travoltavich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milton Blahyi.

and Blahyi counters with a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good leg kick by Travoltavich there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Blahyi throws a series of punches but Travoltavich avoids them all with ease.
Travoltavich ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blahyi moves away.
Blahyi shoots in looking for a takedown. Travoltavich tries to sprawl out of it but Blahyi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Travoltavich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A clash of legs there as Blahyi blocks the low kick.

Blahyi misses with a leg kick.
Travoltavich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good exchange - Travoltavich coming out on top.
Blahyi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Blahyi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Travoltavich takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Blahyi missing with a left hand there. Travoltavich was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Blahyi moves out of range of the body kick.
Travoltavich scores with a jab to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blahyi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Travoltavich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Travoltavich will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Blahyi misses the shot to the body.
Travoltavich lands a nice hook to Blahyi's body. Blahyi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blahyi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Travoltavich. That one must have hurt.
Blahyi tries to clinch up but Travoltavich circles away and keeps his distance.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Travoltavich.
Blahyi looks winded!
Travoltavich connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Blahyi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Travoltavich is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Blahyi.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Travoltavich feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blahyi's calf.
A punch lands to the side of Blahyi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Blahyi shoots in for a takedown but Travoltavich shows good takedown defense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Travoltavich dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Blahyi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Travoltavich. That one must have hurt.
Travoltavich connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Blahyi is rocked!

Blahyi is still on wobbly legs! Can Travoltavich finish him?
Travoltavich connects with a solid leg kick.
Blahyi seems to have recovered his senses.
Blahyi walks straight into a right hand from Travoltavich - that's dropped him! Travoltavich jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Blahyi from any more punishment! Blahyi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
