Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Ali moves away and avoids it.
Smith slips under a jab from Ali.
Smith misses with a jab to the body
and Ali counters with a nice leg kick.
Ali throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Ali off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Monty Ali has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ali, as that shot connected.
Smith misses with the combination.
Ali loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Smith moves out of range as Ali strikes.
Ali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ali keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ali.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ali throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Smith crashing down! Smith tries to stagger back to his feet but Ali just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Smith asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monty Ali!
