Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Pud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Sjoblum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Big Pud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pud shoots in looking for a takedown. Sjoblum tries to sprawl out of it but Pud keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sjoblum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pud drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sjoblum had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pud is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sjoblum Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pud's back instead.
Sjoblum looking to break Pud's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pud remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sjoblum will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I really don't envy Pud right now.
Pud could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pud is working hard here to advance position.
Sjoblum tightening his grip on Pud, looking for the choke.
Sjoblum is looking for a rear naked choke here but Pud reverses the position brilliantly into Sjoblum's guard!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pud decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Pud looks for a takedown but Sjoblum sprawls well.
Nice takedown defense from Sjoblum. No joy for Pud on that attempt.

Pud throws a head kick that half lands.
Pud tries a head kick but it misses.
Pud shoots in and bounces Sjoblum off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sjoblum manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pud manages to get himself to full guard.
Pud is pulling down on Sjoblum's head to control his posture.

Sjoblum is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pud is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pud has escaped and now he's on top!
Pud wants to control from the top but Sjoblum keeps moving.
Sjoblum has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pud is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sjoblum.
Sjoblum is trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Pud dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pud is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pud scores with a kick to the body.
Pud misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Big Pud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pud feints and as Sjoblum raises his hands in defense, Pud changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sjoblum looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pud passes into side control.

Sjoblum is squirming around, avoiding Pud's attempts to control the action.

Pud has hold of Sjoblum's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sjoblum manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Sjoblum is in all sorts of trouble here.

Pud is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sjoblum can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Pud lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Sjoblum hold on?!
Pud is looking for the choke from the back position but Sjoblum is controlling his hands well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pud is pressing down on Sjoblum's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sjoblum is holding on for now.
Big Pud overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sjoblum clinches up against the cage.
Pud pulls guard.
Pud lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sjoblum!

A solid leg kick lands there for Pud.
Pud fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pud wants to clinch but Sjoblum slips to the side
and Sjoblum counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Sjoblum counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sjoblum is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Sjoblum postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pud is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sjoblum, into his guard.
Sjoblum is working an open guard so Pud takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Pud finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pud thows a leg kick but Sjoblum checks it
and Sjoblum counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Sjoblum wants to pass to mount but Pud is defending the position.
Sjoblum is looking for a kimura but Pud is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sjoblum to get the leverage.

Sjoblum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pud is just riding it out for now. Sjoblum eventually gives up the hold.
Pud is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sjoblum pulls his head out easily.
Pud has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sjoblum is working away from the top position though.
Sjoblum seems to be working for a kimura but Pud defends the submission attempt.
Sjoblum is looking to pass Pud's guard but actually Pud recovers to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pud is trying to maintain the position but Sjoblum is very close to passing his half guard.

Sjoblum is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pud defends it well.
Pud manages to get to full guard.
