Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flynn's entrance music is Kanye West- Amazing . A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Recksun's choice of entrance music: Eye of the Tiger. Hugh Recksun is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Flynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flynn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Recksun sprawls well initially but Flynn persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Flynn trying to control from half guard but Recksun is working away. Flynn tries to pass to full mount but Recksun defends it. Flynn trying to control from half guard but Recksun is working away. Recksun is in trouble now - Flynn has advanced to mount! Flynn looking to control but Recksun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Flynn swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Recksun is now in Flynn's guard. A big mistake from Flynn there, giving up the dominant position! Flynn wants to sweep here but Recksun controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Recksun wants to stand and escape but instead Flynn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Recksun keeping moving, preventing Flynn from controlling successfully. Flynn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Recksun is keeping the position for now. Flynn stops Recksun from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flynn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Recksun is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Flynn, into his guard. Recksun trying to stand up but can't free himself from Flynn's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flynn keeping moving, preventing Recksun from controlling successfully. Recksun wanted to stand there but Flynn had control of the position. Recksun trying to control the position from guard on top but Flynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flynn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hugh Recksun. A head kick misses from Recksun. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flynn. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Recksun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Recksun clinches with his opponent.
Flynn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Recksun's efforts to push away. Recksun working hard to break the clinch.

Recksun throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Flynn counters with a one-two to the body. A head kick misses from Flynn. Flynn misses with a body kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Flynn is defended easily by Recksun. Recksun fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action! Flynn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Recksun circles away quickly and effectively. Flynn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Recksun to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Frank Flynn has been cut. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Recksun crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flynn - the referee stops the clock and Recksun gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flynn. Recksun manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Oooh a lovely combination from Recksun sends Flynn down but not out. Recksun dives into side control looking to finish.
Flynn is rocked! Recksun tries to stand but Flynn is controlling his head. Oh Flynn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugh Recksun dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Flynn's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Recksun closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Flynn seems to have got his legs back now. Flynn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Recksun thows a body shot but no joy. Recksun fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Flynn to the ground. Recksun is now in Flynn's guard. Flynn has a closed guard, preventing Recksun from standing up. Flynn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Recksun throws an elbow that misses. Flynn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Recksun's guard. Nice move by Flynn! Flynn trying to control but Recksun is working from the bottom. Our spies down at at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym inform us that Recksun has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Recksun keeping moving, preventing Flynn from controlling successfully. Flynn passes Recksun's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Flynn is looking to take a break and control but Recksun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Flynn looking for a submission but Recksun manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Flynn won't allow Recksun to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Flynn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Recksun is keeping the position for now. Flynn throwing strikes from guard but Recksun blocks nicely. Recksun can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flynn controls the pace. Recksun is looking to stand up but Flynn isn't so interested in that idea. Flynn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flynn tries to advance to mount but Recksun denies him. Flynn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Recksun keeps working. Flynn is really struggling to control Recksun but he's trying to hold on to the position. Recksun wants to get back to his feet but Flynn drags him back down. Recksun prevents Flynn from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flynn wants to take a breather but Recksun manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Flynn. Flynn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Flynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Recksun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Recksun wants to get back to his feet but Flynn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Flynn trying to control but Recksun is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oh, that's hurt him - Flynn falls to the canvas and Recksun follows him into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Recksun wants to stand but Flynn is controlling his arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugh Recksun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Frank Flynn's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Flynn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Recksun. Frank Flynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flynn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Recksun.
It looks like Hugh Recksun has been cut. Recksun throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Flynn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Recksun is in Flynn's guard. Recksun engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Recksun trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Recksun wanted to stand there but Flynn had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Recksun wants to stand and escape but instead Flynn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Recksun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Flynn is controlling him. Flynn wants to pass the guard but Recksun is keeping the position. Flynn trying to control but Recksun is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flynn tries to free his leg and advance position but Recksun is retaining full guard. Flynn stops Recksun from standing up. Flynn trying to control but Recksun is working from the bottom. Frank Flynn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Recksun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Flynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Recksun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Frank Flynn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sloppy strikes from Recksun. Those never looked like landing. Recksun throws a sloppy head kick and Flynn moves out of range easily. Recksun drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Recksun wants to stand but Flynn has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Recksun wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flynn keeps working. Flynn is trying to improve his position. Frank Flynn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ground and pound from Recksun seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Flynn parries the strikes from Recksun easily there. Recksun is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Flynn to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Recksun tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Recksun has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Recksun tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Hugh Recksun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Recksun is trying to get an arm triangle but Flynn is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Recksun throws a strike aimed at the side of Flynn's head but Flynn avoids it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Hugh Recksun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Recksun has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
