Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gun.
Gun keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gruber throws a solid leg kick but Gun takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gruber.
Gruber scores with a one two! Gun had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Top Gun has been cut.
Gun swats away the attempt to clinch by Gruber.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gruber darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gruber throws a shot from downtown. Gun moves away and avoids it.
Gun showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gruber.
Gun keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gruber.
Gruber pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gun is out of range and Gruber settles back down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gruber will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gruber misses with a combination
and Gun counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Gruber!

Gun thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gun trying to control the position but Gruber is working away.
Gruber struggling a bit here.
Gun trying to control the action but Gruber is working from the bottom.
Gun tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gun is looking to take a break and control but Gruber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gun wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gruber, who protects the arm well.
Gruber is not content to let Gun control the position.
Gun is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gruber knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gruber is looking for a sweep.

Gruber manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gun is not content to let Gruber control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gun can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gruber landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Gruber working over Gun with some ground and pound. Gun looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Gruber lands a couple of digs.
Gruber trying to control the position from guard on top but Gun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gruber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gruber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gruber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hans Gruber will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gruber scores with a takedown into Gun's guard.
Top Gun has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gruber connects with a couple of short punches.
Gruber postures up in Gun's guard and throws a big left but Gun blocks it.
Gruber tries to free his leg and advance position but Gun is retaining full guard.
Gun utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gruber wants to control from the top but Gun keeps moving.
Gruber postures up and lands a big shot to Gun's brow.
Gruber lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Gruber is in close to Gun's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Our spies down at at LOD: MMA Gods inform us that Gun has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Gruber is posturing up here but Gun has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Gruber tries to roll out but it's too tight and Gruber has to tap! Slick submission there by Gun!
