Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Pitbull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Thomas! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pitbull gets the takedown into side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Thomas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Pitbull is keen to just control but Thomas is a slippery customer. Pitbull tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thomas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Pitbull seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Thomas wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pitbull lands strikes from half guard. Pitbull is pressing down on Thomas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thomas is holding on for now. Pitbull is looking for a kimura here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pitbull is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pitbull frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pitbull controlling the position easily from mount. Pitbull looking to ground and pound but Thomas is blocking nicely. Pitbull is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Thomas has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pitbull stands up from mount. Strange move. Thomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Pitbull sprawls well. He's pushed Thomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Thomas as Pitbull shoots in. Thomas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pitbull counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thomas's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas is controlling Pitbull's posture. Pitbull with a flurry of punches that miss. Pitbull looking to pass the guard. Pitbull is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pitbull postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pitbull throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Pitbull postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pitbull drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thomas dives on top into guard. Pitbull really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Thomas postures up in Pitbull's guard and throws a big left but Pitbull blocks it. Pitbull manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pitbull. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Pitbull avoids the attempt from Thomas to control. Pitbull wants to take Thomas's back here but Thomas is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Pitbull wants to control the pace but Thomas is squirming around nicely. Pitbull is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pitbull swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thomas is now in Pitbull's guard. A big mistake from Pitbull there, giving up the dominant position! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thomas wants to control from the top but Pitbull keeps moving. Pitbull has his foot on Thomas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thomas works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pitbull is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thomas defends well. Pitbull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pitbull looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Thomas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pitbull is trying to control the position but Thomas postures up. Thomas won't allow Pitbull to sweep him here. Pitbull lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Thomas! Pitbull controlling from the full mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee warns Thomas that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Pitbull dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pitbull as he jumps to the side. No luck for Thomas with that takedown attempt. Pitbull shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Alan Pitbull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pitbull circles away quickly and effectively. Pitbull fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thomas sprawls well initially but Pitbull persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Pitbull looks to land a strike but Thomas avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Pitbull is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Thomas can do to turn this around? Pitbull trying to control the position from guard on top but Thomas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thomas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas keeping full guard, as Pitbull tries to pass. Pitbull will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Thomas trying to control the position.
Pitbull wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Pitbull connects with a couple of short punches. Thomas keeping moving, preventing Pitbull from controlling successfully. Thomas looking for a guillotine here but Pitbull defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pitbull looking to pass the guard. Pitbull won't allow Thomas to get back to his feet. Pitbull wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Pitbull is stalling in the full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Pitbull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pitbull wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pitbull's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thomas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pitbull should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Thomas has tightened it up now! Pitbull should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Paul Thomas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
