Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Distor Centura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephen Bell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephen Bell!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centura moves out of range of the body kick from Bell.
Bell throws a sloppy head kick and Centura moves out of range easily.
Centura walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bell.
A right-left combo lands from Bell.
Bell is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Centura changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bell is looking for a sweep.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Centura decides to stand back up.

Bell wants to control but Centura is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Centura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working.

Centura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bell scores with a one two! Centura had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Bell stuffs the takedown attempt from Centura. Centura gets slowly back to his feet.
Bell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Centura circles away.
Bell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Centura, pushing him back against the cage.

Centura is trying to pull guard but Bell turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Centura escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Centura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Good leg kick by Bell there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A head kick from Bell lands but Centura takes it in his stride.
Centura looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Centura fails with an attempt to clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Centura won't allow Bell to get back to his feet.

Centura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Centura perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bell is trying to stand up here but Centura is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Distor Centura will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bell looks to score with a jab to the body but Centura is just out of range.

Centura shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Centura was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

We're going to have a standup here because Distor Centura wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Centura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bell defends well and Centura ends up having to push Bell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Centura is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bell to keep the fight standing.
Bell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bell is looking for a sweep. Centura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bell leaves Centura with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Centura takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Centura, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
