Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscralo De Santiuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Started From The Bottom. Rock Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscralo De Santiuya! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
De Santiuya tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Oscralo De Santiuya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Santiuya looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. De Santiuya shoots in but no luck this time. Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for De Santiuya on that attempt. Rock Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscralo De Santiuya. De Santiuya tries to clinch and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from De Santiuya. Lee misses with a hook. De Santiuya closes the distance but Lee moves to the side and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Oscralo De Santiuya has been cut. Lee throws out a powerful jab. De Santiuya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but De Santiuya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. De Santiuya tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Santiuya wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side and Lee counters with a right hand to the body. De Santiuya closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. De Santiuya pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. De Santiuya fails with a takedown attempt. Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee with a nice cross. De Santiuya looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. De Santiuya looks winded! Lee cracks De Santiuya with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends De Santiuya tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lee pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! De Santiuya is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rock Lee! Rock Lee is the new welterweight champion! Rock Lee was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Oscralo De Santiuya spoke after the fight, saying 'Get better, train harder, move faster, be better.'.
