Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dallas Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Harris! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Harris looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Riley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Riley tries to stand but can't do so whilst Harris controls his leg. Riley wants to take a breather but Harris is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riley is pressing down on Harris's thigh, looking to free his foot. Harris is holding on for now. Riley trying to control from half guard but Harris is working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dallas Riley wasn't doing enough on the ground. Riley fails with an attempt to clinch.

Harris doesn't succeed with the takedown and Riley counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Riley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Harris.
Harris seems to have recovered his senses. Riley dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Riley lands an uppercut. Riley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Harris is trying to keep an underhook but Riley manages to get the takedown into half guard. Riley moves nicely into side control. Riley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Harris to his feet. Riley gets a double leg takedown into Harris's guard. Riley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Harris can do to turn this around? Harris is breathing heavily.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Riley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Harris knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Riley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harris can do anything to dispel that myth. Riley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harris keeps working.

Harris has a closed guard, preventing Riley from standing up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Riley trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Riley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Riley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Riley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Harris to the ground. Riley is now in Harris's guard. Riley advances to half guard. Riley wants to get back to his feet.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Riley is looking to take a break and control but Harris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Riley fails to land a wild elbow strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jack Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dallas Riley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riley decides to take the fight back to the feet.
